Make the decision
An event can expose a profile to people far beyond the contacts you normally share it with. Before attending, review the opening page, contact download and linked documents through that wider audience’s eyes. Ask whether every item is useful for a first introduction. Remove expired offers and materials meant only for an existing client. A short review is particularly valuable when a profile has gradually accumulated links over several projects.
Put it into practice
Use a timed sequence: inspect visible fields, open the most important links, download the contact file and test the enquiry route. Do the review on the phone you will use at the event, then ask someone else to open the shared destination. Prepare a separate route for a qualified follow-up instead of placing all material on the public page. After the event, check whether any temporary information or event-specific contact routing should be retired.
Hypothetical example
A team prepares for an exhibition and finds a client-only pricing sheet linked from a presenter’s profile. They replace it with a public overview and keep the detailed proposal for relevant follow-up discussions. The shared profile now matches the audience expected at the stand.
Make it practical.
