Where the feature earns its place
Tap Tap Go’s product model includes interest-based networking and intended suggestions for relevant professional connections. Work from the relevant topic and something useful the user can genuinely contribute. A suggested connection does not grant access to their contacts or time.
Check the handoff before acting
Before sharing, review three points: state the contribution accurately; keep the request modest; avoid claiming entitlement to the person’s network. Ask yourself: What makes this request worthwhile for the other person?
Hypothetical example
Imagine a founder approaching a suggested professional connection. In this hypothetical scene, the founder offers a practical resource and invites a discussion without asking for a list of investors.
Make it practical.
