The difference between attention and introduction

Tap Tap Go’s product model includes tap and profile engagement analytics. Those signals can help a user understand whether a profile is being explored, but they do not justify claiming that every visitor has been identified. A view can happen for many reasons, including curiosity or repeated checking. Treat identity as known only when supported by the actual interaction and available records, not inferred from the timing of a view or an assistant’s confident suggestion.

Choose the appropriate next step

Use anonymous engagement to review the clarity of the profile or the usefulness of its content. Use an explicit enquiry or an agreed contact exchange to decide whether a personal response is appropriate. Do not combine unrelated information to guess who viewed a page merely to create an outreach list. If the assistant proposes a follow-up, confirm the recipient and the basis for contact yourself. The product’s current analytics and contact controls should determine what is actually observable.

Imagine this

Hypothetical example

A professional notices activity after a conference presentation. They use it as a reason to improve the resource page, not as proof that a specific attendee visited. When an attendee later sends an enquiry, the professional responds to that explicit request without inventing a history of anonymous browsing.

Make it practical.
