Make the commercial context visible
A customer arriving from a profile should be able to understand the service, price, currency and seller before entering payment information. Use an approved payment provider and verify the destination through its official setup process. Keep the description consistent with the conversation that led to the link. A beautifully presented profile cannot compensate for a checkout that leaves the buyer guessing whether the amount is a deposit, full payment or an unrelated product.
Test the journey after payment too
Review the confirmation message, receipt, contact route and cancellation or refund information applicable to the offer. Ask who receives notifications and how the sale connects to your order records. Use permitted test functionality where available. The practical goal is a complete buying experience that a customer can understand without sending repeated messages to the founder. For a public profile, also plan who reviews the link when the offer, price or provider changes.
Hypothetical example
A hypothetical consultant adds a booking-payment link to a profile. The first review reveals that the checkout does not explain whether the amount covers a consultation or a deposit. Updating that description makes the offer clearer before the consultant shares the profile at an industry event.
Make it practical.
