Map the observable steps

A person may receive a card, open a profile, read a resource and later request a discussion through another channel. Not every step will be visible in the same system. Confirm which events your setup records and where additional business records are needed. Avoid claiming the platform knows the complete journey simply because the initial introduction used a Tap Tap Go card.

Use evidence and acknowledgement together

Ask the prospect how they found the relevant information when that question is appropriate and useful. Keep self-reported context distinct from technical activity records. The benefit is a better understanding of which resources help conversations progress, not an exact attribution claim unsupported by the available data. Review the whole experience: the clarity of the profile, the relevance of the material and the ease of arranging the next discussion. Improvements at those points can be tested without pretending every conversion has one cause.

Imagine this

A hypothetical scene

A prospect books a meeting after receiving a profile link from a colleague. The sales team records that explanation alongside its own activity information. It recognises the profile’s useful role without claiming that one tap alone caused the meeting or the eventual commercial outcome.

Make it practical.
